- Distribuir la carga a lo largo del transportador.
- Ayudar a evitar que la banda se descuelgue o deforme entre puntos de apoyo
ARTESAS
- Las artesas de carga son conjuntos de rodillos instalados debajo de la banda transportadora, cuya función es sostener la banda y el material durante el transporte.
- Normalmente están formadas por 3 rodillos: Un rodillo central horizontal. Dos rodillos laterales inclinados. Los tres forman una especie de “U” o artesa.
